Again this year, Marygrove is asking a number of freshmen and seniors to take part in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) (pronounced “Nessie” like the monster). NSSE gets information from hundreds of colleges and universities nationwide about student participation in programs and activities that institutions provide for their learning and personal development. More than 1300 different colleges and universities in the U.S. and Canada have participated in NSSE since it was first administered in 2000. The survey is run by the Center for Survey Research at Indiana University.
