Campus-Community Dialogue Happens Tonight at 6:30

campus community dialogue.jpgThe March campus-community dialogue is Monday, March 10, at 6:30 p.m., in the SC Green & Gold Room.

 Special speakers include:

  • Ron Scott, a Detroit activist with  Detroit Coalition Against Police Brutality.  He will introduce Peace Zones.
  • Catherine Orban, associate professor in Criminal Justice, and Jesse Cox, adjunct and campus minister, will share how they incorporate restorative justice into the curriculum.
  • Jahzara Mayes Otoo will tell the story of how Education Department became involved in Bagley School!
  • Barbara Beesley may present a model of nonviolent communication.

We’ll also do a sharing of “what’s going on? and what can we make happen together?” Everyone’s welcome.  Participants are requested to send their RSVP to bbeesley@marygrove.edu or leave a message at 313-927-1403.
