Marygrove is Pleased to Present “Mixed,” a Play by Jennifer George

Mixed PlayOn February 28 at 8 p.m., Marygrove College will debut “Mixed,” a play by Jennifer George (an adjunct at the college) on being racially mixed in today's society.

“Mixed” is a play that confronts issues of Diversity, Inclusion, Identity and Anti-Racism, from the unique perspective of bi-racial and multi-ethnic characters.

There is also a historical plot line woven in to the play that tells the story of three generations of African-American women in the post-Civil War South. It is entertaining, educational, thought provoking, and original. Suitable for audiences 14 and up. There is also a talk-back with actors & the author/director after the show.
